Need an Official Docket or Record?
These are the correct routes for the most common Van Buren County requests:
- Public case information: use the county’s Case Information and Calendars page to choose the 36th Circuit, 7th District, or Probate MiCOURT route.
- A court date or setting: check the county’s published calendar route, then confirm a consequential setting with the responsible court.
- Circuit Court copies: contact the County Clerk, who is also Clerk of the 36th Circuit Court.
- District or probate records: contact the 7th District Court or Probate Court directly because those courts keep their own record channels.
- A transcript or hearing recording: use the county’s recording and transcript request instructions.

The 7th District Court East is at 212 E Paw Paw Street, Paw Paw, at 269-657-8222. The West location is at 1007 E Wells Street, South Haven, at 269-637-5258. Probate Court is in Suite 220 at the Paw Paw courthouse cluster and can be reached at 269-657-8225. Court hours are listed as Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.; confirm hours before a visit.
